Huntress Organic Amaranthus Seed

Product ID:5499G.265499G

New! Selected for rose-pink plumes.

Upright, vigorous plants produce an abundance of primarily warm-pink to light-rose plumes. When cut, stems arch beautifully in arrangements. Side or lateral branches make smaller plumes which are especially useful for bouquets and floral design. Pinching is recommended for optimum branching. Light pink plumes can darken a bit as they age on the plants. Produces a small percentage of light green, cream, or dark rose plumes. Heat-loving plants produce armloads of plumed stems. Selected by Johnny's Breeding Team over several seasons. When plants are young and leaves are tender, the foliage makes a nice edible green. USDA Certified Organic.
